What to do if your camera needs repair

As you're probably aware, we sell the vast majority of our used equipment with a warranty. We do this because we believe that you should be able to rely on any equipment that you buy, old or new, to do the job it's supposed to do.

That's why we do our best to test all the equipment we receive, and provide both a return period and a repair warranty on most of our gear. 
Our 7-day return period helps you confirm that the equipment you buy is working as you expect it to. Though we absolutely encourage you to try equipment thoroughly in-store before you buy, this return policy gives you a bit more flexibility to ensure that everything is working as it should. Returns within two days are provided with full refunds, while returns within 3-7 days are assessed a 10% restocking fee.

Our 90-day warranty (30 days on consignment items) is a repair warranty, in place to assure you that we stand behind the equipment we sell. If your camera should experience a failure within this period, your first step should be to contact us for advice.

What you shouldn't do is bring the camera to a repair shop without letting us know about it first. We have no affiliation or pre-arrangement with any camera repair shop, and consequently, our warranty is void if any unauthorized repairs are performed.

We deal with a variety of repair facilities, some local, some not. We consult with specialist technicians whenever possible to ensure that any warranty issues are taken care of as effectively as possible.

So if you purchase used equipment from us and something goes wrong within the warranty period, please let us know about it, and we will arrange for repair, replacement, or refund, depending on your particular case and the nature of the equipment.
